Lisboa Games Week / Indie X 2018

Lisboa Games Week is the biggest gaming show in Portugal.
Thousands of gamers, cosplayers and other nice folks flock to FIL, in the heart of Lisbon, to check out the latest news in gaming.

Indie X is an international indie game exhibition that takes place inside Lisboa Games Week.
This was Indie X’s first year, where they selected 50 games as finalists to exhibit in LGW, and run for the awards.

Those Who Remain was selected, so off we went to LGW.
The Indie area is getting better every year, thanks to the excellent team of Indie X. A spacious, visible and central area that’s impossible to miss.
There were 25 Portuguese and 25 international games. Everything from side scrollers to strategy or VR games. A great selection of promising titles.

The first two days are always slower, so we have more time to talk with the other devs. The weekend is extremely busy, but also extremely useful, as we have the chance to talk with a lot of players face-to-face, and to know what they enjoyed about the game, and if there’s something that can be improved.

And as if the show hadn’t been awesome already for us, we won the “Best Portuguese Game” award.
We can’t express how excited and honored we feel to win this award.
